Throughout my career in tourism, hospitality, education, international business, and automobile investment, I have learned that sustainable success is built on three pillars: people, knowledge, and collaboration. At SBDAM, these principles guide everything we do. We are committed to developing people, elevating professional standards, and creating opportunities that contribute not only to business growth but also to the social and economic well-being of our communities.

Drawing on my experience with national tourism development, hospitality education, and executive roles in technology, energy, automobile, and investment sectors across Thailand, ASEAN, the Middle East, and Africa, SBDAM is positioned to bridge traditional industries with innovative solutions. Dr. Amorn Hamkham

Managing Director, SBDAM

Dr. Amorn Hamkham is a Thai executive, educator, and consultant based in Bangkok, originally from Phetchabun, Thailand. He brings together decades of leadership in tourism and hospitality with senior appointments in technology, energy, and investment sectors across Thailand, ASEAN, the Middle East, and Africa.

His current and past roles include Managing Director, SBDAM; Chief Executive Officer, AZ Builders Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd; Executive Advisor, PSTC Academy; and Training Director, AICERT. He previously served as Director / Regional Director at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and as Executive School Director at the International Hotel and Tourism Industry Management School (I-TIM), while also lecturing at several Thai universities and hospitality colleges. In the private sector, he has held senior positions—CMO, Marketing Director, Managing Director, Senior Vice President, and Advisor—in companies dealing with solar energy, smart-grid and IoT solutions, electronics and digital TV devices, industrial robotics, and the mining and trading of gemstones and metals.

Dr. Amorn’s professional focus covers tourism and hospitality development and management, along with the design and delivery of professional training programs in tourism, hotel management, multimedia presentation, personality and social manners, tour-guide skills, English for hotels, computer maintenance, European table manners, sustainable tourism, and sales and marketing.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (Thailand), an M.Sc. in Hospitality and Tourism Development (Australia), and a Doctorate in Business Administration (Thailand). He is known for his strong business networks with government and private organizations at both local and international levels, his excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and his ability to work in Thai, English, French, and Lao.
